About

David Norman Bone is a tenor based in New Haven, Connecticut. He is currently pursuing a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance at the Yale Institue of Sacred Music and Yale School of Music, where he studies with Professor James Taylor, and sings in the Yale Voxtet and the Yale Schola Cantorum.

Prior to Yale, David lived in Dallas, Texas, where he sang professionally with many ensembles around DFW, including the Dallas Bach Society, Verdigris Ensemble, and the Compline Choir at Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church. He served as Staff Singer at Saint Michael and All Angels and The Church of the Incarnation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Degree from Iowa State University, where he studied with Professor Chad Sonka and sang in the Iowa State Singers.

Outside of music, David enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys enjoys gaming and technology, and has 5 years of experience working as a Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs and John Deere. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Software Engineering from Iowa State University.
